Peineta styled fork

A big thanks to Sergey for this beautiful piece of art.

I have been on the look for a peineta styled fork for ages but with not much luck.

They are always too small or too expensive,

Finally encountered ColourTimeShop on etsy, of course, and this beauty had all that I needed.

It is light, affordable, beautiful, big, long and sturdy!

Link to his shop here, please visit, I am not associated with him but he deserves more attention

  1. Hey Ligeia ! I never heard of this shop but his carving looks nice. It always amazes me how you can make such big hairtoys appear "normal sized", like this wide fork but well, you have A LOT of hair. For your next stick or fork, consider rosewood, I think it compliments so well auburn hair ; it is my favorite (and I am daughter of a carpenter and wood worker and married a man who does marquetry and boats models, mostly sailboats but I am just bragging, I am very proud) Anyhow, I hope you and your husband are doing great. Hugs

    1. Hi Lison!

Thank you for your nice words.
I love rosewood, that is a great idea, I usually go for the size as most crafters do not cater to my hair but I would love to have a fork made out of rosewood, it is beautiful. My grandfather was a carpenter as well, most of my mother's furniture was made by him.
Damn, with all that knowledge you guys should start a side business and make me some hair toys!
      Hugs to you both!

  2. My husband didn't make one for me yet, he has some rosewood in his workshop ; the days are just too short. He is too busy with work these days, I do my best to make it less tiring and happier for him. Anyway, maybe one day we could gift you one, it would be such a honor ! We have to try out some designs before so I hope patience is on your side.
Also, watched again your last video, still shocked how delicate and beautiful your husband's hands look as a musician (it is a compliment).
    Bises à vous deux
